The inlet manifold on my motorcycle had deteriorated and the part was no longer made. So I made one.
I painted the old part white for a clean scan, scanned it, and rebuilt the model in SolidWorks. It's printed in TPU, flexible enough to cope with engine vibration. A few iterations later it fit and performed like the original.
